Terms of Service

The deal

SoftwarePoint builds a website, business email, invoicing setup, and Google Business Profile for a flat one-time fee of $500–$1000, agreed with you before any work starts. Ads are optional and quoted separately if you want them. After launch, $100/month covers hosting, security updates, and small content changes.

Our guarantee

We'll revise your homepage design with you until you approve it, before we build out the rest of the site — that revision round isn't capped. If we haven't started build work yet and you change your mind, we'll refund the one-time fee in full.

What you own

Your domain is registered in your name. Your website's code and content are yours. Your Google Business Profile, email address, and invoicing account are set up under your business, not ours. If you cancel the monthly plan, everything stays yours — we'll hand off hosting or help you move it, your choice.

The monthly plan

$100/month is billed after launch and covers hosting, security and platform updates, and small content edits (text changes, photo swaps, hours updates). It doesn't include new pages, redesigns, or ad management — we'll quote those separately if you want them. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice; there's no long-term contract.

What we need from you

Photos, business details, and copy you want on the site, if you have them — if you don't, we'll help you put something together. Timely responses during the build (5–10 business days) keep your launch on schedule; long delays on your end may push the timeline.

On ads and search rankings

If you add ads or ask us to help with search visibility, we'll set things up carefully and report honestly on performance — but we can't guarantee a specific number of clicks, leads, or search ranking position. Anyone who promises you a guaranteed rank on Google isn't being straight with you, and neither are we if we did.

Limitation of liability

We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profits, lost data from third-party services, downtime caused by your host or domain registrar). Our liability for any claim is capped at the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the relationship

You can cancel the monthly plan any time with 30 days' notice. We can end the engagement too, with notice, if payment lapses or if a project scope turns out to be something we're not the right fit for — in that case, we'll refund any unearned portion of the one-time fee.
